You can have whatever you want... If you dress for it. (Edith Head) Click To Tweet

If you ever watched America’s Next Top Model, even just for a little bit, you will know who Tyler Banks is, a former model, actress, singer, producer, TV personality and businesswomen. Here are more info of her, In case you want to know more about her. And when I think of fierce, she was the first one came out of my mind. (Wanna know who the second one is? Beyonce!) So think of the person who represents fierce in your mind, and you can fill in the rest of sentence yourself.

Office attire is a difficult category to get right. How can you look professional, appropriate and stylish at the same time? Finding the right balance requires a lot of practice and plenty of inspiration. You can find my other office attire look here. It’s also important to consider every part of your outfit. Too many women choose great clothes but fail to style them appropriately for work - don’t be one of them! Click To Tweet

Hair

I know I need to get my hair colour redone, hehe

How you style your hair will vary depending on your work environment. In some workplaces, a formal updo might be most appropriate. For the majority of people, though, a more casual hairstyle will look the best. Keep your hair neat and sleek – a straight style like this one is perfect. (as much as I want perfect curls everyday, its just so impossible for me to curl my hair every morning, haha)

Makeup

Subtle makeup is best for work. Soft brown eyeshadow, glowing skin, and coral pink lips are polished without looking too heavy/nightclub glamour. Most daytime makeup styles will be appropriate for work. (unless you work in an extremely conservative place.)

Shoes

Make sure to choose shoes that are comfortable (this is the key ladies! because you are gonna be in them all day! Especially if your work involves lots of standing around), and yet still polished and stylish. These shoes are by Dior, and perfectly blend sophisticated elegance with a hint of playfulness. They would fit well in most workplaces, and suit a huge variety of outfits because of the combination of mutual colours.

Outfit

This is where you have the most freedom – but also have to be careful regarding your company or employer’s guidelines of cause. Choose clothing that is well-fitting, sophisticated and simple. These high-waisted pants have a nautical feel that never goes out of style, while the sleek silhouette is appropriately formal. They make a plain white t-shirt look far more formal, even though it could comfortably be worn at the weekend with jeans.

Note: You will be seeing me wearing lots of high-waisted pants/shorts/skirts in my posts. It just gives the vision that your legs are longer, because it would look like they start off from your waist. (make sense?) So if you are looking for that “Legs for days” effect, make sure you pants are high waited too. One more confession. my obsession over ribbed knit pieces. They are just too comfortable to not love them! I can literally wear it everyday. Don’t believe me? Check it out here. End of the line, comfortability and style/design have always been my fashion guideline.

This outfit would be absolutely perfect for those of you who work in a creative industry, with plenty of freedom in terms of outfit choice, but still want to look stylish and professional.
