Is there any color more feminine than pink? For a date day outfit that’s pretty without being childish, try a soft pink dress with a sophisticated silhouette. This delicate shade of pink has become one of the most popular colors in the fashion world, appearing on all kinds of items, from coats to bags. A little more cool-toned than traditional pastel pinks, it has a far more elegant feel than the pink that you remember from your childhood. And apart from that, I can never resist rib knit made clothing, they are just so comfortable. They can keep you warm and give effortless sexy look at the same time.

The Ultimate Pink

A sleek, bodycon silhouette adds even more sophistication to the pretty pink color. A valence hem is incredibly on trend and a welcome change from the skin tight dresses that we all get tired of sometimes. A textured rib knit is casual while still extremely flattering, and a wrap neckline suits any figure. This dress might be the perfect item for looking pretty on a date without feeling overdressed! And if you are not a fan of skin tight silhouette, you can of cause choose many other rib knit dresses with more lose shape or patterned design that can distract people from silhouette (refer to the runway style photos above).

Accessories

Of course, the best way to change the feel of sugary pink is to choose your accessories and makeup with care. Elegant shoes and a structured handbag make this color grown-up rather than little-girl. Choose darker colors, like this blue bag and black-accented heels, to ground the pink and make it look a little more serious. Block heels are pretty but still practical.

Dramatic eye makeup, like this feline smoky eye, adds a sultry feel, while soft pink lips keep the overall look casual enough for day. A delicate coral lip gloss will complement the pink of the dress, but is more flattering on most skin tones than a cool pink shade would be. Loose, casual hair perfectly echoes the mood of the dress.

This combination really does make for a perfect date outfit or maybe just a comfortable yet understate sexy casual outfit. Bonus points if you can get your boyfriend to dress in complementary pastel shades or block colours for a power couple look! haha. The shots below was actually behind scene photos we took that day, when my boyfriend was trying to help me in between shoots and the photographers insisted that we should start kissing in front of camera lol haha 🙂
